Kevin Harvick is asking his fans to help him locate a Soldier from Fort Bragg for him! Lets help him try to find this Hero! You can contact Kevin by Facebook at His website at and on Twitter @KevinHarvick, His wife Delana @DelanaHarvick   Here is the info he posted!

Okay Fort Bragg followers, we need your help. A few weeks ago when DeLana and I were in Ft. Bragg, we came in contact with a solider as we were leaving the Soldier & Family Assistance Center.

He told us that he and his friend were huge Kevin Harvick fans. Soon after watching the Daytona 500, he and his friend were out on patrol, in Afghanistan I believe, and his friend was killed. He gave me a pin from his friend’s uniform. Before we could process what had just happened, between the tears, soldier was gone.

We never got his name…

We’ve been working with the folks from Ft. Bragg since that day with no luck. It would mean so much to us if anyone has any information about this particular solider we met in Ft. Bragg and how we might be able to contact him.

We’ve got something we want to get to the soldier and are hoping we can get the word out via social media. There are no pictures, video, etc of our meeting… so we are asking for any help in this matter!

Congratulations Harvicks

Kevin Harvick announced that his wife Delana is 14 weeks pregnant wednesday night at RCR during the NASCAR Media tour! Delana is due in mid July ironically during an off week for Nascar! You couldnt time that any better! Dont expect to see Delana in a firesuit or on the pibox anytime soon Kevin said!

Now we have the answer to why Kevin and Delana decided to close down KHI to start a family and new chapter of their life! The KHI building is now a playground basicly with a full size basketball court and collection of some of his cars and also where he runs his awesome fanclub! Kevin did say he isnt ruling anything out and could someday down the road reopen KHI!

My prayers and best wishes are with Kevin and Delana to have a smooth healthy pregnancy and Healthy Baby Harvick!!! May God Bless them!!!

Im so proud to be a Harvick fan!!!

Racers’ Race Day Prayer

20 10 2011

Before I start my engine Lord I need to talk to you.

And ask your blessing for what im about to do.

I give you all the credit for its only by your grace,

That i am at this starting line, to run another race.

The road that lies before me now uncertain it may be,

But I  can face this challenge Lord, If you will ride with me.

Prepare my heart, mind, soul and give me strength, protect me from all harm.

With ever-present danger everywhere, hold me safely in your arms.

Lord bless my competition, my crew, my fans my friends and family,

May they know your Love for them, and see that Love in me.

Meeting Kevin Harvick

4 08 2011

Kevin Harvick came to the local Ollies store for their grand opening yesterday morning to cut the ribon and sign autograghs! Ollies is his sponsor on his truck for Pocono on Sat.

I got to the store at 5:15am hung out met some other Kevin fans, I never knew there were so many Kevin fans in the area! There wasnt many there. They handed out tickets at 730 and i ended up 19th in line!

Kevin got there around 9:15 and somehow he snuck in there without anyone seeing him come in! He was in the store for 20mins then came out to cut the ribbon then went back in the store to sign!

They called in 25 people at a time to get in line to meet him so i ended up being like 5th one to meet him!

When i got up to Kevin i said to him”How ya doin brotha?” He said “Im doin great and i remember ya from the fan club” I told him “I’ll see ya at Dover and go out there and kick some ass” He said “I will” Got my pict with him and got my flamie smilie plate signed plus a pict of his Ollies truck signed!!

Have being in Kevin’s fan club for years and even walked up to him at RIR in 01 this is the first time i really met him by talking, shaking his hand and getting a pict with him!

It was an awesome day finally meeting Kevin and meeting new Kevin fans!!

The Cup guys were at Pocono sunday and i was there for it! I planed on going few months ago with one of my girls, I ended up winning free tickets from JTG Racing witch Bobby Labonte drives for!

I had an awesome time there with my sweetie and meeting new friends and Miss Sprint Cup Paige Duke!!

I was blown away by the speed they were going there! I’m used to the short tracks and Walkins Glen where they dont go as fast. After seeing them at that speed i told my sweetie i need to hit Daytona or Talladaga Haha! It was so cool and took my breath away seeing them go that fast! They even seamed fast during the pace and caution laps! I tryed to get picts during pace and caution and kept missing them but i did get 1 lucky shot of Harvick!

The view at Pocono sucked! You couldnt really see them much at all so you had to watch the Sprint video screen and listen to MRN. All we really could see is hafe of the frontstright and turn 1. We did have great view of the pits and we were right in front of Harvick and Labonte,s pits! Awesome view there!!

The weather was calling for possable rain and storms but thankfully the rain held off untill after the race! The sun kept coming in and out and it kept going from cool to hot and i ended up getting toasted Haha

We left about 25 laps to go so we could get the hell out fast to beat traffic and good thing we did cause we get about 2 miles from track it started to downpour!

Kevin Harvick did a hell of of job! He started 32 and finished 5th!! It was awesome watching him pit and his crew work!Kevin did scare us hafe to death at the start from playing games with kyle busch

Bobby Labonte started 18th finished 28th, He did alright! It was awesome seeing them work too!

There were 18 lead changes and 4 cautions. Jeff Gordon took the win. Dale Jr finished 6th!

The best part of it all was spending the day with friends and watching them pit and go fast!!

My next Cup race will be Richmond in Sept! Who knows what other races i’ll go to this season but my next race im seeing is the Great America race where about 100 cars from 1911-1969 race across ameria in a week! They are stoping in Binghamton wed evening!

Regan Smith wins the Southern 500

10 05 2011

Cup boys were at Darlinton this past saturday nite and there was lots of action thats for sure! It was a wild crazy race thats for sure! There were wild crashes a first time winner then the fights! Saturday night is alright for fightin!!  In all there were 21 lead changes and 11 cautions.

On lap 231 David Ragen spun and then hit Brian Vickers and knocked the side off Vicker’s car like a can opener! As you seen in the pict there it took the window net and foam right out of that car! Yea both drivers were OK in fact Vickers got the side replace and got back out there to finish the race!

On lap 359 Jeff Burton blew the motor bringing out the caution and on the restart kyle busch got into Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer sending them both in the wall that set up a green white checker finish and Regan Smith was able to hold off Carl Edwards for his first ever win! After the racethe fight was on between Harvick and busch! busch hit Harvick’s car on pit row as Harvick was getting out and sending crew guys running as the car hit the pit wall and they both were called to the Nascar hauler! That took the spotlight away from a first time winner!

Regan Smith is an underdawg! He drives for Furniture Row Racing, a single-car team based in Denver – that’s Colorado, not Denver, N.C. The organization uses chassis from Richard Childress Racing, engines from Earnhardt Childress Racing Engines and a pit crew on loan from Stewart Haas Racing.  Last season he only had 4 top 15 finishes!

“Winning here to me means more to me than that win could have ever meant with this team, with the hard work, racing out of Colorado, the things that have gone on,” Smith said.

Cup guys will be at Dover this sunday! I might be missing that race as i might be going to the local track to see the Race of Champions Modified tour race!

Hometown boy takes Nationwide win at RIR

30 04 2011

Richmond’s very own Denny Hamlin took the checkers in the Nationwide race at RIR to back up his chairty event win! Denny really is the hometown boy in Richmond as he was born and raised in Richmon! Denny got his racing started at Southside Speedway in Richmond!

There wasnt much action during the race at all and i was kinda surprised  of that as there was only 3 cautions and 6 lead changes

Paul Menard, Justin Allgaier, Elliott Sadler & Brad Keselowski round out the top 5. Justin Allgaier left RIR with the points lead with only 6 points over Elliott Sadler.

So will Denny get 3 in a row tonite & will there be more action? We’ll find out starting at 7pm on Fox!

Enjoy the race! Have fun be safe!
